Can I watch DVDs in the library?

Answer

Colchester:  Yes, you can watch DVDs on any of the PCs in the library. You will need to borrow a DVD player from the Helpdesk, (please remember to bring your student card with you), then plug the player in to the PC's USB port, and double-click the DVD icon from the My Computer tab on the Start Menu. The DVD  should then be ready to play. You will also need to use headphones for the DVD audio.

Southend: No, we do not provide DVD players at Southend.

Loughton: We have 1 DVD player in the snug and up to two sets of headphones/earphones can be paired to the screen via bluetooth. It is also possible to connect a laptop and watch videos, films, etc from websites such as Drama Online, Bob, etc.
