Colchester: There are Group Study Rooms in the north side of floors 2 - 5. You can Book a Group Study Room between 9am and 6pm Monday - Friday, they are first come first served outside of these times. You can also study in a group in the Breakout Zones on the landings of floors 2 - 5. Lab L and the Library Learning Room on the ground floor are also a Group Quiet Study Zones.

All other areas of the library are Individual Quiet Study Zones or Silent Zones.

Southend: There are pods on the 2nd floor of The Forum which are ideal for group study.

Loughton: The library is a Quiet Study Zone so any collaborative work must be carried out always ensuring that noise is kept to a minimum. Please note that we cannot provide space for you to rehearse in the library.
