Is there anywhere I can study?

Colchester: There are study spaces in the library. On the ground floor in the Postgraduate Study Room and the Library Learning Room and Lab L (when it is not being used for teaching). Floors 1- 5 have desks and seating, Floors 2-5 have accessible computers and power points which can be used to charge personal devices. There is also a Group Study room on the north side of floors 2 - 5.

Keep an eye out for our Study Zones. There are Silent, Individual Quiet Study and Group Study Zones.

Southend: The library has a number of study spaces. Has an open study space at the north end of The Learning Hub, a quiet study space at the south end as well as various individual study rooms and pods.

Loughton: Our library is a quiet study zone and is equipped with desks and seating, accessible computers and power points which can be used to charge personal devices. There is also a dedicated Post Graduate Room on the first floor of Hatfield House.
