When is the library open?

Colchester:
Term Time, (October-June); the library opens at 8am every Monday and stays open until 5pm every Saturday. We open between 9am-5pm on Sundays.
You will need your student card to access the library between midnight and 8am.
Summer Vacation (June- October) the library opens 8am-6pm Mon-Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.
The Library Learning Rom, Lab L and the Postgraduate Study Room are open 24/7 all year round, you will need your card to access these when the main library is closed.

Southend:The library is open 24/7. Access to The Forum after public library opening hours, are via the SMAC doors at the North end of the building. Access to the books on the 1st floor is via the North Staircase/Lift. Follow the link below for information about using the SMAC doors.
The public library is open 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday. 8am- 5pm on Saturday. 11am - 4pm on Sunday.
Loughton: The library is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 11 pm, and Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm. Please note that on weekdays the helpdesk is staffed from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.
