I've lost a library book, what do I do?

Colchester: If you have lost a book please let us know as soon as possible, either talk to us at the Helpdesk or email libline@essex.ac.uk. The book will be removed from your account and you will be charged the cost of replacement (including a £6 admin fee).
Southend: Please let the staff at Reception on the Ground Floor of The Forum know as soon as possible. The book will be removed from your account and you will be fined the amount it costs to replace the book and a small admin fee.

Please do not purchase a replacement copy yourself, as there are many hidden costs for us to process these than if we replace them through our suppliers.
