What is an Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM)?

Answer

An Author’s Accepted Manuscript is the version of an article that’s accepted by a journal after peer review and any corrections, but before final publication. It’s the version that journals usually allow you to self-archive and thereby make available open access (OA), though sometimes the publisher may apply conditions to this. Email oapublish@essex.ac.uk if you need advice about any aspect of this particular route to open access that's known as Green OA..
