What is a Creative Commons (CC) licence?
Answer
Publishing open access (OA) means a researcher / author can keep control over their work. A Creative Commons licence enables authors to retain copyright and to decide how their work is shared, adapted, and reused.
CC BY is the most common and most open of licences, but others are also available.
