I’m trying to deposit a paper to the RIS and have got an error message saying ‘deposit failed, please contact the administrator’

Answer

File deposits usually fail when special characters, accents etc. appear in the file name. Try renaming the file, removing any characters with accents, hyphens or EM dashes and try again. If you continue to have problems email repository@essex.ac.uk or reors@essex.ac.uk with details of the publication you are trying to deposit.
