How do I access WRDS?
You need to create an account to use WRDS
- Go to Register or click on Register on the WRDS homepage
- Register using your @essex.ac.uk email
- You will receive an email from WRDS/Wharton requiring you to agree to the terms and conditions in order to create your account. This should arrive within two working days
- Library staff will then approve your account during standard working hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and closure periods).
When your account has been approved, you will be able to use the login you created to access WRDS.
If your existing WRDS account expires, you can apply via WRDS to have it extended and Library staff will edit your expiry date.
