Noise levels need to be regulated in the computer rooms
Answer
Thank you for your feedback.
The Library Learning room is a group quiet study zone. Due to the size of the room and that it is a designated space for groups, the noise in this area can escalate, particularly at peak times when the room is full.
There are PCs available on all other floors which include silent and quiet individual study zones, which may be preferable when the Reading Room is full.
Our roving library staff monitor the zones throughout the building, including the Reading Room, and will address any noise concerns.
We also offer a noise line - if noise is disturbing you, contact our noiseline and a member of library staff will come and investigate, taking action as appropriate
