In my old university the computers had a live chat button that would connect to the Librarians at the desk to ask questions or complain about any noisy people in the library anonymously, because some people think its ok to talk in study areas.

We offer a live chat service Monday - Friday. You can click on our live chat button on the bottom right of our library homepage to ask a question or report noise.
Alternatively you can contact us by email or phone, or if in the library text our Noise Line on 07557290664 telling us the location of the noise and we'll take action as appropriate.
